I have been carrying the same wallet with me for many many years. I decided it was time for a change, and as a quilter, wanted to make something for myself. So off to the inter net to look for ideas! After blog hopping and looking at tutorials I stumbled upon That Darn Kat’s tutorial. This wallet is so cute! I modified the pattern to make it more my style, and here is the result.
I added some extra interfacing and reinforcements, a pen holder, and changed the top pockets to be more suitable for a checkbook if needed. It is very roomy and the perfect size to carry around in your hand like a clutch or just throw it in your purse! I really hope I can get some more sewing done soon, school is really testing me this semester. Until next time, here is a sneak peak at the quilt I am currently (slowly) working on.
Happy sewing everyone!
